Google hasn’t released any stats since 2012. But given this, we can guess that there were around 3 and a half billion searches a day back then. As for now, Internet Live Stats’ suggest that there are around 5 and a half billion google searches done every day. So, my question is this; if you’re not utilizing this incredible marketing opportunity through business blogging, what exactly are you doing?

It’s this question that the Search Engines are trying to answer billions of times every day, and it is their primary responsibility to serve relevant information to the user. So what is your target audience is looking for? Make sure your website is delivering the answer to them. The easiest way to do this is through a blog.

Before you start trying to solve a problem for your customer, you need to take a step back to really understand who your customer is, because the better you understand this, the better you will do in all aspects of your business – branding, marketing, and sales. If you can understand your clientele, you will understand how they think, what problems they need to be solved and what they will be searching for online.

Once you have a better understanding of who your customers are, you can start business blogging. Think of a business blog as another marketing channel, just like social media or email marketing, it helps to support your business growth. And it does this by bringing traffic to your website and providing opportunities to convert that traffic.
I like to think of blogging as fishing. The more hooks you have in the water, the more likely you are to catch a fish. In the same way, as you add more content to your site, more pages from your domain become indexed in the search engines. Every new page you publish is like dropping another hook in the water. With more opportunities for your target audience to find your bait, the more bites you’ll get.
